On 21st March 2021, Allama Iqbal Open University AIOU issued a new notification regarding the group system. It is to inform all that AIOU decide to forbid the matric, FA and BA group system. Those applicants who already enrolled in these programs should complete their spring semester program 2021. AIOU introduced this new policy in Fall 2019. However, AIOU also informs that students who will not be able to complete their program by Spring 2021 will not be able to register in the next semester according to the previous group system.
Other than that, the above-mentioned students should re-apply for admission and shall re-start their program according to the new scheme. It is mandatory for students to complete their program in spring 2021 otherwise he/she shall consider suspended and will not enroll next time for the group system.
If a student fail to pass these subjects, then he/she may give exams as per new schedule. introduced by the university Apart from this, applicant who recently enroll in the Associate degree in commerce should dvised to complete their programs by 2023. Associate degree in commerce students enrolled from Spring 2020 advised to complete the program before 2024.
