The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council Islamabad issued the latest updates regarding the upcoming MDCAT test 2023. The Council decided on the registration fees, result validity & venues. The passing percentage of the BDS test is 50%, and the MBBS is 55%. Those who want to seek admission will have to follow this schedule. The registration portal of MDCAT will be live from 17th July 2023 till 31st July 2023. PM & DC Undergraduate Education Policy & Regulation 2023-24 are now available on the official website.

MDCAT Registration Fee
The registration fee will remain the same, i.e., 6000
MDCAT Passing Percentage
The following MDCAT Passing percentage is approved
- BDS 50%
- MBBS 55%
Result Validity
The MDCAT result of one province is valid for the entire country and shall be valid for three years. The result of MDCAT 2022 is no longer valid for seeking admission in 2023, as it is already mentioned in the individual certificate.
International Venues
To facilitate the international candidates, MDCAT will hold in two international countries. I.e., Dubai and Riyadh. International candidates will choose between these two options according to their conveyance of visa and travelling.
