On Saturday, in a meeting, British Council announced plans to help the Karachi University to connect it with various UK-based universities. The council also decided to help and guide the students about scholarships for exchange programs. Thus, KU VC held this meeting with the Director of British Council Sindh and Balochistan, Michael Houlgate, on Saturday.
In the meeting, they also discussed the matter regarding mutual interest and joint working opportunities. On this matter, British Council Director also shared that the council and KU Visual Department are working on a project. However, they will also work on some other projects together.
However, KU VC also talked about this matter. He stated that we promoted online education during the COVID-19 and used various latest technologies. However, he also said that we invite a delegation of the British Council to Karachi University. The purpose of this invitation is to give complete information to the students and faculties regarding scholarships, exchange programs, etc.
Thus, he decided that WE will make a group of 25 students, and the delegation will guide them properly. After that, that group of students will deliver the information to other students.
