Cambridge and Board Exams According to the Schedule
On 10 March 2021, Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood announced the exams of inter and matric, as well as Cambridge, will be according to the set schedule. Shafqat Mahmood told it during the announcement of holidays of schools for two weeks.
He stated that our children are giving exams under Pakistani Boards. Thus, he refers to the O-Level and A-Level and says that the same rule will also apply to other boards’ children.
Thus, according to the schedule, the matric and intermediate exams will be in May and June.
Closure of Schools
Due to the increase of COVID-19, the government decided spring break of schools for two weeks. Thus, according to the announcement, educational institutes Islamabad and Punjab provinces will close from 15 March 2021.
According to the Murad Raas tweet, the institutes of Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Rawalpindi, Multan, Sialkot will remain closed from 15-28 March 2021. However, the schools of the remaining districts will follow the regular schedule.
