- In Some syllabus, candidates could take the components that are easier to manage. Such as, AS and A level and Arts and Design Candidates can produce one course work instead of three.
- Schools could apply exemption where they feel that students were not able to complete the syllabus.
- Candidates could choose not to take a component but still receive an overall syllabus grade.
- Students can receive a grade when they miss any exams for any reason. Cambridge will give results to all candidates who give a minimum one component of a subject in the May/June 2021 Exam series.
- Students can switch the exams for the next series with the same fees they paid for May/June 2021 exams. Thus, for making a decision, they have time till 17 June.
- To facilitate the students who want to switch, Cambridge will take popular exams in Pakistan in Oct/Nov 2021 exam series.
