Chinese CSC Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who fulfill the below criteria can apply.
- Must be an International student.
- Not have another scholarship issued by the Chinese government or any of its delegations.
- Qualification: HSSC, Bachelors’s and Master’s degree holder
CSC Scholarship Age Limit
- BS students must not be more than 25 years old,
- For a master’s degree, the age limit is 35 years.
- For a Ph.D. degree, the age limit is 40 years.

CSC Scholarship 2024 Coverage
The Chinese Government Scholarship provides the benefits given below
- Type A: CSC Scholarship covers basic medical insurance,
- registration fees, accommodation (in a university residence in a shared room with another person) and a monthly allowance for personal expenses (between 2,500 and 3,500 Yuan per month
- Type B CSC Scholarship covers the same as the Type A scholarship, except for the monthly allowance for personal expenses.
- Type C CSC Scholarship is another type of partial scholarship with few benefits.

Required Documents
Applicant must attach the following required documents with the application.
- Notary attested highest degree and transcript.
- Official medical form or Foreigner Physical Examination Form
- CV in English or Chinese form.
- Two letters of recommendation written in English or Chinese

How to Apply for CSC Scholarship 2024
- Some universities have different deadlines for application submission.
- You should check the last date of the universities of your choice.
- Visit your desired university website. Then complete the application process online.
- Applicants can apply for three universities by visiting CSC portal account.
- Before filling out the online application form, you will be asked to choose the Type of scholarship according to its funding (A, B, or C)
- Once you have completed all the information in the online application for the Chinese Government Scholarship, you must attach the required documents in PDF format (the list is given below).
- Check whether the Chinese University of your choice requires an online application for admission and the Chinese Government Scholarship application.
