According to the School Education Department (SED), the E-Transfer Portal for the teachers will be opened soon. The Punjab government will open the portal for all working teachers within a week. Through the portal, all teachers can apply for the transfer from one school to another online.
However, the PITB (Punjab Information Technology Board) did some changes to the E-Transfer portal for transparency and transfers on merit. The online transfer system helps the teachers as they can apply without repeated visits to the offices. Now, they can apply without any difficulty. Teachers have to provide asked data online for the transfer through the SED website.
However, former Cheif Minister Usman Buzdar launched the E-Transfer portal for the teachers in 2020. He also introduced an E-Transfer Mobile App through which candidates can track their application status.
