Eid-Ul-Azha 2022 Public Holidays in Pakistan

Eid-Ul-Azha 2022 Public Holidays in Pakistan

The Prime Minister of Pakistan approved the five days Public Holidays in Pakistan for the Eid-Ul-Azha 2022. According to the Prime Minister’s Office Notice, in Pakistan, the Eis-ul-Adha Holidays will start from 08 July 2022 to 12 July 2022, Friday to Tuesday. However, the Muslims will celebrate the Eid-Ul-Adha 2022 on 10 July 2022, Sunday. Thus, the government approved 02 holidays before eid and two after eid. After the Eid Holidays, the department will return to work according to the schedule on Wednesday, 13 July 2022. 

Before approving the Holidays for the Eid-Ul-Adha, the Cabinet Secretariat presented the summary of the holidays to the PM. The Cabinet Secretariat suggested three Holidays from 10 to 12 July 2022 based on the annual Holidays Calendar 2022. After reviewing the summary, the PM announced that there would be five public holidays for Eid-ul-Adha 2022.
