FBISE is a Government of Pakistan board to examine Pakistan International School for overseas and intermediate and secondary education in Pakistan. Under the supervision of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, it is working since 1975. This constructional body with financial and administrative power is allowed to arrange, manage, regulate, develop and control intermediate and secondary education and carry out the examinations in the institutions associated with it. The Federal Board is responsible for all cantonments and garrisons in Pakistan, Gilgit Baltistan, federally controlled tribal areas and Pakistan International School abroad.
