The Federal Board (FBISE) recently issued notifications about the HSSC and SSC annual exams. According to the notice, the board has changed the passing policy for the SSC and HSSC exams by increasing the passing percentage. Increase in SSC & HSSC Passing Percentage

According to the Federal Board notification, the board decided to increase the passing percentage for the SSC and HSSC candidates. So, now students must secure 40% marks to pass the SSC and HSSC Exams instead of 33% marks. Howvere, this policy to increase the passing percentage is for all Pakistani and abroad candidates.

Separate SSC and HSSC Practical Exams

FBISE notified all candidates that from 2024 onward, the board would conduct separate practical exams for the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th classes. Remember that the separate practical policy will be applicable from 2024, so the practicals will be combined in the 2023 annual exams.
