Recently, the Federal board (FBISE) issued a notification regarding the promotion policy of SSC and HSSC students. The Federal board stated that the mentioned promotion policy had been approved after discussing with the competent authority, IPEM (Inter-Provincial Education Ministers). Thus, the board will promote the SSC and HSSC (Part-I & II) students according to the rules given below.
Promotion Criteria 2021
- SSC and HSSC (Part I & II) students will get marks in all subjects based on the average marks in elective subjects and mathematics ( for 9th and 10th class). After that, 5% extra marks will be awarded to the students for compulsory marks. However, if any student has a compartment in the subjects, the board will give them 33 marks and declare them pass.
- 10th and 12th students will get the 9th, and 11th class marks based on the obtained marks in 10th and 12th class exams 2021.
- Board will provide a 50% pass to each student in practicals, while the remaining 50% marks are based on the theory subjects.
- Improvement marks will base on the marks obtained in the given exams.
- Candidates who remained absent in all subjects will declare as absent.
