The Federal Board of Revenue issued a notification regarding the uniform worn by all-female officials. As per details, the FBR made it mandatory for all female officials or officers to use light makeup in neutral colors. However, they also strictly instruct them not to wear jewelry, and their fingernail will not increase more than an each beyond the fingertips. This issued notification applies to all customs officials and officers. The Federal Board of Revenue issued this schedule on Monday. They only allowed to wear watches with no wedding or engagement rings.
They also issue Charcoal Grey color Customs Service Uniform (CSU) for all ranks from BS-1 to BS-22 of Pakistan Customs Service. Not only this, but they also include the uniform allowance in their salary for procurement and maintenance of Customs Service uniform (CSU), Customs Field Uniform (CFU), and Customs Ceremonial Uniform (CCU). All ranks must wear service badges and medals equivalent to their levels. In addition to that, FBR also replaces the custom official logo with “Enforce, Facilitate, Progress.” Being a symbol of the State, any injury to uniform shall be considered a criminal offense.
Also, all officers must wear belts over their jerseys for sweaters for winter uniforms. The field operation will wear a grey camouflage uniform as per image-II. For female officers, hair tied appropriately. The uniform must be clean, pressed, and worn, complete with buttons.
