As the new year will begin in a few days. The Federal government of Pakistan issued a detailed list of public holidays which will arrive in the coming year. They issued this notification yesterday. However, this notification is valid for all provinces. Every year, the Muslims of all over Pakistan follow this calendar. According to the Federal government’s notification, there will be 16 public holidays in 2023. The first public holiday of 2023 will be observed on 5 February 2023 on the occasion of Kashmir Day. One great thing is that in 2023, there will be long weekends, as many public holidays will arrive on Friday and Saturday. Due to Friday and Saturday, there will be long weekends for employees and students.

Apart from all these, it is also important to mention that banks will remain closed on 2nd January 2023 (Monday),22nd March 2023, and 3rd July. It is considered a bank holiday (only for the Public, not for employees)
