The Government of Pakistan issued the latest press release regarding the amendment in the Pension calculator. In the previous months, they gave the pension calculator. Now, they revised it again and shared the updated pension calculator. All the individuals who receive monthly pensions will now have to follow this schedule. This updated notification is valid for all Federal, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and KP. This calculator is also valid for Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan pensioners. The pension calculation sheet for KPK employees differs from Balochistan, Sindh, and Federal Pensioners. Also, it only applies to pensioners who retired on 1st July 2023. Those who retired before 1st July 2023 will follow the revised pension calculator of 2022.
The difference between Punjab and others was only the payment of increased pensions to the new pensioners. Sindh Pensioners will also have different pension and commute amounts due to the changes in 2022.
