The government of Pakistan issued the latest notification today in which they talked about the fixation of government employees’ pay, whose pay scale is from BPS-02 to BPS-11. They decided to promote these scales without option. If the government fixes the pay without option, then the employee will not get the annual increment of 2022 as his length of service in the new pay scale is not a minimum of six months which is the basic condition of the annual increment. A few weeks ago, the government explained in the previous notification that the salary would stay the same if the employees got an annual increment in 2022. Hence, the government decides to fix the pay without the option.
