CPEC-CRG 2021 Grant
The Higher Education Commission announced the CPEC Collaborative Research Grant 2021 for the faculty members. So, the faculty of all public and private universities can submit their research proposal. However, those proposals will reflect the issues regarding Pakistan’s Socio-economic Development and CPEC. Thus, interested and eligible faculty members can apply through the HEC Online portal. However, the last date to apply for the CPEC-CRG is 31 March 2021.

CPEC-CRG
The purpose of this grant is to promote a research partnership between Pakistan and China. Thus, HEC started this grant under an initiative named Academic Collaboration under the CPEC Consortium of Universities.
However, under CPEC-CRG, the funding amount is up to Rs 500 Million, with the project having a duration of 03 years. In some cases, the funding budget could be increased up to RS 100 Million.

Eligibility Criteria For CPEC-CRG 2021
For the CPEC Collaborative Research Grant, the candidates/faculty members must meet the following criteria.
- Faculty member having Ph.D., FCPS/MCPS/FRCS qualification
- Working in HEC recognized Institutes on a regular or contract basis.
- The Institutes must be a member of the CPEC Consortium of Universities.

- Candidates have to apply with all required documents on the HEC Online portal. (research.hec.gov.pk).
- Remember to submit the application according to the prescribed format.
