The Higher Education Commission HEC officially announced the scholarship for the students of Balochistan. They offer scholarships to the students of Gwadar, Lasbela/Hub, Kech (Turbat), and Awaran districts of Balochistan. Applicants who want to pursue their undergraduate studies in HEC-recognized public/private sector universities/degree awarding institutions (DAs) of Pakistan can apply. For the ease of applicants, we shared the detailed procedure of how candidates can apply for scholarships online. The scholarship will awarded on merit and District Quota basis as per PC-1. Applicants must secure at least 50% marks in the test conducted by HEC. Those who are interested can apply before the due date. The last date for submission of application is 30th November 2023

HEC BS Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria can apply
- Must have domicile/local certificate of Gwadar, Lasbela Hub, Kech (Turbat) or Awaran District of Balochistan.
- Completed 12 years of education with at least 50% marks in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and also in Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent
- For students already enrolled in any BS program before the advertisement, a maximum of one academic year/session may also apply.
- The maximum age is 22 years as of the closing date
- Applicants must meet HEC and university criteria for admission to the BS program.

- Fill out the application form online. Enter all required details
- Hard copies of applications and other documents are not required at this stage.
- The applicants must deposit Rs 500/- (non-refundable) as the application processing fee in Habib Bank Limited.
- The original bank payment record/slip must be uploaded with the online application,
- The applicant must submit the online application after completing the application form. Saved and incomplete applications in any respect will not be considered.
