Universities to Continue Online Classes
On Wednesday, the Higher Education Commission announced that all universities would continue their online classes. The commission instructed to conduct online classes till 11 April 2021 on the instruction of the government.
On 24 May 2021, Education Ministers decided to extend the COVID-19 holidays till 11 April 2021 in 8 cities of Punjab. The government took this decision after reviewing the COVID-19 situation. However, HEC clarified that universities would operate by following the same instructions as before.
Exam Schedule
The Higher Education Commission stated that universities would conduct on-going and pre-scheduled exams according to the set timetable. However, the institutes will observe the COVID-19 SOPs and safety during the exams properly. Thus, all the candidates in the examination hall will wear masks and maintain social distancing. However, the universities will provide these things such as sanitizers, disinfecting the building properly.
