The Higher Education Commission (HEC) announced the registration schedule for the LAW Admission Test (LAT) 2023. HEC conducts the LAT test for candidates who want admission to the 05-Year undergraduate LLB degree programs. Thus, after passing the HEC LAT, the candidates are eligible to apply for LLB degrees in Public/Private institutes recognized by the HEC. So, applicants who want to appear in the LAT 2023 test must visit the HEC website and apply online. The last date for the LAT registration is 10 January 2023.
Eligibility Criteria for HEC LAT 2023
- Candidates who have passed HSSC (12th Class) or an equivalent degree
- Students who appeared in the HSSC or equivalent exams and waiting for the result.
HEC LAT 2023 Exam Date
- The Higher Education Commission (HEC) will conduct the LAT 2023 on 22 January 2023 (tentative date).
- The commission will announce the notification on the official website if there are any changes in the test date.
- Registered candidates will get information about the test date, time, and venue through SMS/email.
- Applicants must provide a valid email/contact number to receive updates about the test.
- The LAT roll number slip will be available on http://etc.hec.gov.pk OR the registered emails of the candidates a week before the test date.
- Candidates must bring their roll number slip and CNIC.

How to Apply for HEC LAT 2023
- Visit the HEC online Portal through the link to apply for the LAT 2023. (http://etc.hec.gov.pk)
- HEC will accept only Online applications submitted through the HEC portal.
- Candidates must deposit Rs 1250/- in Account # 1742 7900 133401, Account title “ Higher Education Commission, Bank, HBL, Branch Code: 1742
- Upload the paid challan on the registration portal to apply completely.
