HEC Law (GAT) Graduate Assessment test

Higher Education Commission HEC is going to conduct a Law GAT test 2020. For this purpose, they announced the registration dates for law graduates. Like ECAT and MCAT, the LAW-GAT test is also mandatory for LLB students to get admission in the law field. Applicants can apply and submit the application form by visiting the official HEC site. The last date to apply for a Law graduate assessment test is 30 June 2020. The LAW GAT test comprises of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates who apply through the HEC website must carefully read the terms and conditions of the registration process.

How to Register for HEC Law GAT Test 2020:-

  • Candidates can register online by visiting the link http://etc.hec.gov.pk
  •  Submission of application consists of two steps: Profile completion using the “My Profile” section. In contrast, the second section includes application submission using “Law GAT Test.”
  • Only Submitted applications will be considered for HEC LAW GAT Test.
  • INCOMPLETE application will not be entertained.
  • Once you select the test center, it will not be changed.
  • The candidate must deposit the test fee of Rs. 3000/- in HEC account number 1127900567403, Account title is “Higher Education Commission” in Habib Bank Limited, Branch Code: 0112.
  • Candidate can submit their original test fee through courier at Room No. 13-207,2nd Floor, HRD Building, HEC, H-8, Islamabad.
  • The test fee is non-refundable.

How to get Law GAT Test Roll number slip:-

  • The candidate is requested to download their roll number slips from the following link http://etc.hec.gov.pkCandidate must enter a valid phone number and e-mail on the registration form.
  • The registered candidates will get the complete test details via SMS or E-mail.
  • If the applicant has not got their roll number slip online, then he/she must contact HEC.
  • Candidate must bring print roll number slip and original CNIC at the time of the test.

LLB GAT Test Eligibility Criteria:-

  • A candidate who has cleared a bachelor’s degree in Law from an HEC recognized university are eligible to apply.
  • A candidate who already given the HEC LA test on 15 September 2019 and has not secured good marks can also apply in this particular LAW test.
  • Candidate must secure more than 50% marks in the test.
  • The applicant has three chances to clear the LAW GAT test.
