HEC NCGSA 2021 Research Proposals
The Higher Education Commission announced a research proposal under a National Center of GIS and Space Application (NCGSA) program. For this program, the faculty members, researchers of Higher Education Institutes and Research and Development Organization of Pakistan will submit their research proposals. However, HEC will select the candidates according to the selection procedure. The HEC will provide Rs 15 million funding for a project of the duration of 02 years. Thus, interested candidates can submit their research project by 23 April 2021.
Eligibility Criteria for NCGSA
- For the National Center of GIS and Space Application (NCGSA) program, the applicants should be full-time faculty members/ researchers of Public/private Higher Education Institutes.
NCGSA Grant
Under the HEC NCGSA program, the funding amount will be up to Rs 15 million with a maximum project duration of two years.
NCGSA Research Domains
The HEC will grant the research on a competitive basis of the following major research domains.
- Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Science
- Small Satellite Technology
- Position, Navigation, and Timing
- Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Astrobiology
- Space Popularization and outreach
- Space applications and advanced Systems
How to Apply for NCGSA
- Candidates have to submit their proposals for the NCGSA program according to the prescribed format available on the HEC website. (http://ncgsa.gov.pk/ncgsa-research-fund).
- Before submission of the application, carefully read the instructions and complete the application carefully.
- The last date to submit the proposal is 23 April 2021.
