HEC NRPU 2021
The Higher Education Commission has announced a research proposal under a National Research Program for Universities (NRPU) program. For this program, the faculty of private and public sector institutes will submit their research proposals. However, HEC will select the candidates according to the selection procedure and on a merit basis. The HEC will provide Rs 20 million funding for a project of the duration of 03 years. Thus, interested candidates can submit their full research project by 30 April 2021.
Eligibility Criteria for NRPU
- For the National Research Program for universities, the principal investigator must hold a Ph.D. or FCPS/MCPS/FRCS degree and be a faculty member.
- Applicants are working as faculty members on a regular and contract basis in public and private sector institutes.
NRPU Grant
Under the HEC NRPU program, the funding amount will range up to Rs 20 million with a maximum project duration of three years.
How to Apply for NRPU
- Candidates have to submit their proposals for the NRPU program through the HEC online portal. (research.hec.gov.pk)
- Candidates complete the application form carefully and completely.
- The commission will not accept any application after the last date.
- The last date to submit the full proposal is 30 April 2021.
