Hong Kong Fellowship For Ph.D.
The government of Hong Kong announced a fellowship scheme 2021-22 for Ph.D. candidates. In this fellowship scheme, the top 08 Hong Kong universities are participating. International candidates having master’s degrees can apply for the fellowship, there is a need for IELTS. The candidates having a bachelor’s degree (16 years) can also directly apply.
Through the fellowship, candidates are eligible to select two programs/departments from one or two universities. The deadline to apply for the Hong Kong fellowship is 01 December 2020.

How to apply
Candidates have to apply in two steps
- Firstly, they have to submit the initial application to Research Grant Council (start from 01 September 2020)
- Then, submit the full application to the proposed universities
