Join Pak Army as a Captain through DSSC June 2020

Pakistan Army has announced the most awaited position of Captain ICTO on 14 June 2020. Registration has started from 15 June, so interested candidates should register themselves online. For the vacancy of Information Communication Technology Officer, only male candidates can apply. The education required for an Army captain is a minimum of 16 years, and the age limit is 28 years old.  The last date for this position is 30 June 2020.

Eligibility Criteria

• Min. 16 years of education from PEC/HEC recognized Institute with minimum CGPA 2.5/4.00 or 62.5%.
• Only 2nd Division/ grade C throughout the academic year
• Candidates having M.Sc / MS degree with work experience will prefer
• Candidates can also apply to the HOPE certificate issued by the head of universities/institutions. But they have to submit their final degree by 15 Oct 2020
• Nationality:  Pakistani Male citizen, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan Domicile holders
• In case of dual nationalities, Candidates have to surrender from other nationalities other than Pakistan on the final selection 
• Marital Status: Married / Unmarried

Physical standards

• Minimum height: 5’-4” (162.5cm)
• Weight: As per BMI (Body Mass Index)

Ineligibility conditions

•  Candidates rejected by ISSB/GHQ/NHQ/AHQ selection board
• Screened out twice by ISSB
• Dismissed from Govt. services including armed forces
• Permanently declared UNFIT by Appeal Medical Board
• Withdrawn from any bonded armed forces college/ institute in disciplinary ground

Important dates to remember

The procedure of registration & preliminary selection

• Registration 
• Candidates can register themselves online through www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. OR
• Candidates also register by visiting the nearest Army Selection And Recruitment Center (AS&RC) along with the required mentioned documents and prospectus fee.
• Intelligence test

It contains MCQs conducted at AS&RC during the registration process.

• Preliminary medical test

At  AS&RC, Candidates will undergo a preliminary medical test.

• Physical test
• 1.6 Km Run in 9 minutes
• Push-ups: 10 repetitions in 2 minutes
• Sit-ups: 10 repetitions in 2 minutes
• Chin-ups: 2 repetitions in 2 minutes

Required documents at AS&RC

• Original detailed mark sheets with 05 attested copies of each educational degree
• No Objection Certification for the candidates serving in a Government institute 
• Attested copies of domicile
• Copies of CNIC with verification slip obtained by NADRA
• six colored photographs attested ( 01 front and 05 from the back)
• Degrees verified by HEC/PEC
