KPK Launched 1st Phase of Second Shift Schools from 01 September

Recently, the KPK Education Minister Shahram Khan Tarakai talked about the Second shift schools in the province. He stated that we will launch the 1st phase of this program on 01 September 2021 so here is that day. In the Second shift schools, the schools will be upgraded to the higher status according to the following.

• Primary schools into middle schools
• Middle schools into high schools
• High schools into higher secondary schools

Upgraded Schools for 2nd shift

In further detail, KP Education Minister said that in the 1st phase, we will start this program in 120 schools of 16 KP districts. Among those 120 schools, 76 schools for boys and 44 girls schools. 

The 76 boys schools will be upgraded according to the following division

• 48 primary schools to the middle
• 20 middle schools to the high schools

While the 44 girls schools will be upgraded according to the following.

• 28 primary schools to the middle
• 16 middle schools to the high schools

Recruitments for 2nd shift schools

On talking about 2nd shift schools, Shahram Tarakai said that under the 2nd shift program about 700 vacancies have been created. For each school, the government will recruit the staff according to the following criteria.

• 04 teachers with 01 Naib Qasid in primary schools
• 07 teachers with 01 clerk and 01 Naib Qasid is middle schools
• The existing teachers in morning shifts have also chance to teach in 2nd shifts
