Department Head – KYC/CDD

Experience:
Minimum 05 years’ experience related to Account Opening/CDD – KYC Analysis/Quality Assurance of CDD with AML/CFT & Compliance related experience.
Age:
Maximum 35 years.
Outline of Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- To review/verify account opening forms and all other mandatory/supporting documents/approvals required for account opening in the Compliance group.
- To verify anomalies at branch level about maintenance/updation of KTC Forms, correct risk categories of different nature of accounts.
- To alleviate and resolve issues highlighted in core banking application related to AML/KYC and in Financial Crime and Compliance Management System.
- To manage the process of identification and development of the existing AML/KYC system of the Bank.
- To ensure the risk-based profile of the customer for continuous monitoring of KYC/CDD carried out in the branches.
- To obtain the branch’s feedback related to customer transactions triggered through TMS Alerts which are not in line with the customer’s profile.
- To monitor the KYC/CDD of new onboarding accounts/existing accounts and revising the same.
- To review in detail account opening information and transactions of high-risk accounts (including the amount of exchange companies, PEP’s Club/ Association/ Trust, NGOs/NPOs etc.) as per Regulatory and internal guidelines through automated triggered cases/alerts.
- To review existing relationship; identify risk pertaining to customers and guide branch w.r.t AML/CFT policy.
- To review and identify the discrepancies of KYC cases to branches/areas/regions for their actions/updating the profile and perform the proper follow up with the branches/areas/regions for their desired response.
- Any other assignment was given by the supervisor/team leader from time to time.
Position: Analyst – AML/CDD
Eligibility Criteria:
Academic/Professional Qualification:
Minimum Graduation from HEC recognized University/Institute.
Experience:
At least 01 experience related to Account Opening/CDD – KYC Analysis/Quality Assurance of CDD with AML CFT & Compliance related experience.
Age: Maximum 32 years
Outline of Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reviewing/verifying account opening forms and all other mandatory/supporting documents/approvals required for opening in Compliance Group.
- To ensure the risk-based profile of the customer for continuous monitoring of KYC/CDD is carried out in the branches.
- To obtain the branch’s feedback related to customers’ transactions triggered through TMS Alerts which are not in line with the customer’s profile.
- To monitor the KYC/CDD of new onboarding accounts/existing accounts and revising the same.
- A detailed review of Account Opening Information and transactions of high-risk accounts (including the amount of exchange companies, PEP’s Club/ Association/ Trust, NGOs/NPOs etc.) as per Regulatory and internal guidelines through automated triggered cases/alerts.
- To review existing relationship; identify risk pertaining to customers and guide branch w.r.t AML/CFT policy.
- To escalate the highlighted discrepancies of KYC cases to branches/areas/regions for their actions/updating the profile and perform the proper follow up with the branches/areas/regions for their desired response.
- Any other assignment was given by the supervisor/team leader from time to time.
Assessment Test/Interviews:
Only shortlisted applicants strictly meeting the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for test and/or panel interviews.
Employment Type:
The role will be on a contractual basis, which can be extended for three years on the discretion of the Management. Selected candidates may receive compensation and other benefits in line with the Bank’s Policy/rules.
