On 6th April 2021, National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) made an important announcement regarding exam cancellation. According to the latest news, it is to inform all the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) to cancel annual examinations from class one to eight due to the worsening condition of coronavirus in Pakistan. This newly announced decision is only applicable to districts with high risk. Other than that, the physical classes in schools located in these areas will also remain suspended until April 28.
Some of the senior representatives including the Minister for Planning and Development, Asad Umar. Minister for Education and Professional Training, Shafqat Mahmood, and Minister for Religious Affairs, and Interfaith Harmony, Noorul Haq Qadri were also present. However, in the meeting, they also reviewed standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the holy month of Ramadan as per suggestions from religious scholars.
