According to the Bureau of Immigration’s recent document, many educated and skillful youth left Pakistan for a better life and employment in 2022. Based on the news, around 765,000 Pakistani have flown over this year to other countries because of the country’s political instability and increasing economic crisis. So, in 2022, the brain drain condition in Pakistan has increased by 300%.
Based on the published documents of the Immigration Bureau, there are 92,000 highly qualified candidates, such as doctors, engineers, IT experts, and accounts migrated in 2022. It is a huge loss to Pakistan’s progress as the country has lost many educated and experienced candidates.

Most candidates migrated to the UAE (United Arab Emirates) and Saudi Arabia. The Pakistanis also shifted to other countries for opportunities and the best life, such as Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, China, Japan, Turkey, Sodan, Greece, Italy, Germany, Spain, the UK, etc.

- Over 730,000 youth to the Gulf State.
- Nearly 40,000 went to European and other Asian countries
- 470,000 Pakistanis headed to Saudi Arabia
- 119,000 to UAE
- 77,000 to Oman
- 51,634 to Qatar
- 2,000 to Kuwait
