On 29th April 2021, the Government of Pakistan introduced a new policy in the education system. According to the latest details, we notify all that the government of Pakistan makes the teaching of the Holy Quran mandatory in all schools. They made it compulsory for the next academic session. The teaching of the Holy Quran will begin in August 2021. Not only this, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Punjab, and Azad Jammu, and Kashmir have already introduced the legislation for the mandatory teaching of the Holy Quran in their curriculum. Meanwhile, Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan also issued a notification regarding the implementation of the Single National Curriculum (SNC).In this Curriculum, they made it mandatory to teach Holy Quran from grade 1 to 5

Just like all other subjects, students will now also recite and learn the Holy Quran as it becomes a part of SNC. Not only the private and public sectors, but also the Pakistan Army, Airforce, and Navy will follow the SNC, which entails the compulsory teaching of the Holy Quran.
