The Punjab Board Chairman Committee PBCC make a big announcement regarding the change in the board paper pattern. According to the decision, we notify all SSC and HSSC aspirants that the paper pattern of upcoming board papers will change. From now, 25% of the exam paper will include analytical and conceptual questions. The meeting was held on 15th June 2023. Hence, they took this decision with all senior representatives and finally approved it. The Punjab board named this decision as an Improvement of the Current Education/Assessment System in Punjab.

The syndicate marking system will implement from 2 Annual 2023 Examinations for SSC & HSSC by all BISES in Punjab. The analytical/Conceptual part of question papers will be 25% of all subject papers. All BISES will arrange meetings with paper setters and ten model papers of each subject. Also, they announced that no paper setter will be deployed without having command of Bloom’s Taxonomy.
