The Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) notified the CEOs (DEAs) of all of Punjab regarding the large Based Assessment (LSA-2023). The notification stated that PEC would conduct the LSA-2023 in February for grades 02-04, 6 & 7. Howvere, the Large Scale Assessment for the 4th class will be at full-scale and pilot for the 2,3,6,7 classes for the English, Urdu, Maths, and General Knowledge/Science Skills Subjects. 

Thus, the Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) asked for data on the Divisional Public schools and other Private schools registered with DEAs to finalize the sample size. Thus, the institutes must provide the complete data in the excel sheet by 21 November 2022. 

Data Required for the LSA-2023

The institutes will provide the following in the excel sheet for the Large Scale Assessment (LSA) 2023.

  • School Registration Number/Code
  • School Name
  • Address of School
  • Distinct
  • Tehsil
  • School Level (Elementary, Secondary, Higher Secondary)
  • School Type (Boys, Girls, Both)
  • Area of School (Urban/Rural)
  • Students’ Gender (Males/Females/Both)
  • Grade-wise and Gender-wise students’ enrollment From Gerade 01-08
  • School official Phone Number/Email ID
  • Name of Head Teacher/Owner of the School
  • Total Number of Teachers at Elementary Level

PEC instructed the CEOs to consider the following criteria before submitting Divisional Public schools and Private Schools data.

  • Please select all the DPS situated in your distinct and submit their Data.
  • Select any 08 registered private schools from your district having Primary and Elementary Grades
  • Out of 08 registered private schools, 04 must be from the chain, like Dar-e-Arqam, Educators, etc., and the other four are from the general category.
  • Of 04 private chain schools, 02 must be boys’ and 02 girls’ schools. The same condition for the General category schools.
  • In grade 4, a minimum of 10 students must be enrolled.
  • In grades 2,3,5,6,7, at least 25 students must be enrolled in each class.
