Rahmatul-Lil-Alameen Scholarship Program In Islamabad

Today, on 15 April 2021, PM Imran Khan announced the launch of the Rahmatul-Lil-Alameen Scholarship Program in Islamabad. Thus, for this program, the PM approved a budget of Rs 27.93 billion for the next five years. Thus, now the students of around 129 public universities can apply for the Rahmatul-Lil-Alameen Scholarship.

Who Can Apply for Rahmatul-Lil-Alameen Scholarship

For the Rahmatul-Lil-Alameen Scholarship Scholarship, undergraduate students whose family income is less than RS 25,000 can apply.

However, the government launched the program at the federal level but encouraged the provincial governments to start it. For the scholarship program, the governmnet approved around 01 billion per year for Punjab. However, for the KPK, the budget of Rs 427 per annum million has been approved.

During the ceremony, Imran Khan stated that the federal government would spend 5.5 billion annually for 70,000 scholarships.
