PMS EXAMS 2020

PMS Exam abbreviated as Provincial Management Service Exam. This exam is conducted by the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC). The main purpose of performing the PMS Exam is to control and improve the directorate structure in the provinces. PMS exam service is established on 17 January 2014. In today’s articles, we will share the complete details of the PMS syllabus. This post is helpful for the applicants of PMS. Carefully read out the recommendable syllabus for PMS exams accordingly.

PMS Exam Syllabus

The Provincial Management Service (PMS) Exam is consists of 1400 marks. There are a total of 12 subjects in the PMS examination. However, the PMS exam is divided into two parts i.e., written and viva voice. The marks details are as under

Written Part = 1200 Marks (Compulsory + Optional Subjects).

Viva Voice = 200 Marks.

Division of PMS Subjects

The PMS written part is divided into two main categories i.e., Compulsory subjects and Optional Subjects.

  • In the written part, six subjects are compulsory, each carrying 100 marks and have a total of 600 marks.
  • But in optional subjects, three subjects are optional, each subject carrying 200 marks and have a total of 600 marks.

Optional Subjects

The following are the seven groups for the selection of optional subjects from PMS syllabus optional subjects. The applicant has to select three of the optional subjects (not more than one from each group)—the details of the Group-wise syllabus given below.
