On Tuesday 14th of july 2020, Prime Minister Imran Khan approved the start of the second phase of the Kamyab Jawan Loan Program. It aims to provide more job and skill opportunities to the youth across the country. The federal government also released Rs25 billion for phase 2 of the program.

After conducting a successful meeting with the Special Assistant on Youth Affairs, Usman Dar decided to start the 2nd phase of the Kamyab Jawan Loan Program.
Expected Date of The Start of The 2nd Phase:
The expected date of the start of the 2nd phase of Prime minister Kamyab jawan loan program is 12th August 2020. State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said that the loans would be provided at lower interest rates and reduce the markup from six percent to just three percent.
Imran khan also stated that all Islamic banks would participate in this Kamyab Jawan loan program, and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has sent a letter to all the commercial banks in this regard. The youth should focus on their business plans, and the government will provide loans without a guarantee, he added.
