According to recent news, the Punjab Boards has decided to start the digital paper marking for the Intermediate and matric coming annual exams. All boards in Punjab agreed to the computerized (digital) marking. So, the boards have started their preparations to move from the on-paper marking to the digital marking of an annual exam. For this purpose, each board in Punjab will launch a pilot project. Through the pilot project, the boards will check the accuracy of the result prepared after the online marking. So, the preparation for the Polit Project in Multan has been started.

There is news that the Lahore board will launch its pilot project on digital paper marking on 31 January 2023. For the pilot project, the boards will conduct the special exam of the students from the selective institutes. The board will perform the online marking of the students and then analyze the results. After that, the board will send a report to the Punjab Board Committee of Chairmen (PBCC).
