The Government of Punjab has announced an extension in winter vacations due to the extreme weather condition. All the schools, colleges, and universities shall remain closed till 5 January 2020.
According to the new notification by Punjab Government, the schools will remain closed from 25-12-2019 to 05-01-2020. All the educational institutions will continue their activities from 06-01-2020. The notification dated on December 31, 2019, is supposed to be implemented on all educational institutes, public or private both, of Punjab. However, any pre-scheduled activities shall remain unchanged.
The KPK Government, Balochistan Government, and the Punjab Government have extended the winter holidays due to the harsh weather conditions. While Sindh Government did not extend the winter holidays.
