According to the latest notification, it is to notify you all that the annual examination of grades 1 to 8 will commence from 5th March 2022 as per the Single National Curriculum (SNC). This notification is applicable for all private and public Punjab Schools. However, the result will announce on 31 March while the next academic year will start from 1 April 2021. More than that, the annual paper of grades three to eight will contain both objective and subjective papers while the students of grades 1 and 2 will judge on the basis of oral exams. Not only this, but PBCC also ordered schools to conduct written exams of Urdu, English, Mathematics, General Science, Social Sciences of grade 3 to 8 students. While, the students of classes 3 to 8, while Muslim students will test in Islamiat and non-Muslims, will have to take an Ethics exam.

Not only Punjab but also the KPK government introduce the Single National Curriculum (SNC) for KP to 8 classes in August 2021.
