Holy Quran Teaching With Translation Mandatory In Universities by Punjab Govt

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar conduct a meeting with a seven-member committee of vice-chancellors. The purpose of this meeting is to share opinions regarding the teaching of the Holy Quran, do the compulsory translation in all Pakistan provinces. On Sunday, the new notification will be issued by the provincial government. He stated that student would not achieve a degree if he/she does not read the Holy Quran with the translation. Like other subjects, it is also mandatory for every student to attend this Holy Quran lecture in which the Holy Quran taught with translation.

Adding further, he also stated that the Holy Quran is a complete code of life, and its better understanding will help masses win Allah’s favor. The Vice-Chancellors of different universities who participated in the meeting are VC Prof Niaz Ahmed, Prof Dr. Masood Gondal, Prof Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha, VC Prof Mansoor Sarwar, VC Prof Dr. Asghar Zaidi, VC Dr. Bushra Mirza and many more.

Well, it is clear from the notification that the holy Quran will be taught with translation in all universities.
