On 20th May 2021, the University of Punjab issued a notification. In a notification, PU issued the detailed schedule of semester examination and online classes as well. According to the details, the classes and exams of semesters 4, 6 and 8 will begin online from 24th May 2021. PU Vice Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmed chaired a meeting with other representative in this regard
Not only this, they also take the decision that the 2nd semester of BS (Hons.), M.A/M.Sc, M.Phil and Ph.D will resume soon after first semester exams and will continue without any break. In addition to that, the hostels for students of far-flung areas will be opened from 23rd May, 2021 in order to facilitate the students who are facing internet connectivity at their place.
