According to the latest details, it is to notify all that the Punjab University Lahore disclosed MA and MSc admission registration. Now PU stops admissions for Master in Arts and Science (MA and MSc) degrees in all subjects. Not only this, but Punjab University also ordered all other PU affiliated colleges to stop taking admission in Masters in Art and Science degree programs. A large number of students belonging to villages and remote districts are afraid of this Higher Education decision. Also, one of the student complaints in South Punjab complained that the MA program was the option for them to get postgraduate education. Following the Higher Education Commission (HEC) instructions of Pakistan, they completely stop taking admission in MA and MSc in the future. The institution will not offer and enroll students in MA and MSc programs for 2021-22. However, PU also issued the notification in this regard
This decision to cut off MA and MSc programs will disappoint thousands of students. It decided that to change the degree title and the students who have completed BA or BSc would be given admissions to the fifth semester of the BS honors program
