The government has announced the revised dates for the digital census. The revised schedule contains the complete timeline for the census from the pilot census to the results handover to the ECP (Election Commission of Pakistan). So, below we have provided the schedule for the digital census. According to the revised dates, the field operations for the pilot census has done by August 2022. Then from August 2022 to October 2022, the analysis of the Pilot outcome & recommendation for rollout and software acquisition has done.
After that, by 15 November 2022, software and hardware testing had been performed. Then after software checkings/tests, Masters trainers’ training will be completed from 05 December to 15 December 2022. The trainers training at Distict level and then tehsil level will be held. Then, after self-enumeration, interviews, and post-enumeration surveys, the result will be handed over to the ECP in April 2023.
