In the recent meeting, Punjab government make a new decision regarding the distribution of books among students. According to the details, it is to notify all that the government decided to stop the distribution of free books. Previously, students from Nursery to 10th class received complimentary textbooks from schools. However, recent amendments have been introduced in this regard. Now 50 percent of students from sixth to tenth standard and 80 percent of fourth and fifth standard students will be given books. All the schools will complete the remaining books by withdrawing them from the students who have passed this year.
