The Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) recently announced an extracurricular competition schedule in different cities. IBCC made this schedule on the instruction of Federal Education Minister, Shafqat Mahmood. However, these activities will be from different categories.
Categories of competition
The announced competition will be from different categories. Thus, students can participate in the following fields.
- Na’at
- Recitation of Holy Quran
- National Anthem
- Debate
It will be the first time that IBCC arranges this kind of curriculum. Before this, there were only competitions in the sports field. However, the purpose of these competitions is to enhance the creative skills of the students.
Schedule of competition
Below is the detailed schedule of the extracurricular activities.
- 1st program on 11 February in Karachi
- 2nd on 16 February in Sukkur
- 3rd on 18 February in Bahawalpur
- 4th on 22 February in Lahore
- 5th on 26 February in Islamabad
- 6th on 01 March in Peshawar
- 7th on 04 March in Abbottabad
