According to the latest news, the Government of Sindh decided to hire 37000 teachers in all primary schools. On Thursday, this decision took place in the CM house. However, they advised the sub-committee to review the recruitment policy for 2021 for teaching and non-teaching staff. Not only this, but they also clarify the eligibility criteria to hire a primary school teacher.
As per CM, the minimum qualification for a primary school teacher is graduation in the second division. Earlier, the primary school teacher’s post is grade 9 but now they changing and advised to give 14 grades in qualification from intermediate to graduation.
Added more, they also said that the previous teacher will not eliminate from schools. Hence, they remain in the institution and perform their duties. A detailed service structure may create for their career progression instead of promoting them to other posts. Other than that, the post of a senior primary school teacher (grade 16) and the post of a Head or chief Primary School Teacher at grade 17 created for the promotion of primary school teachers.
The hiring rules for other teaching cadres such as Music Teacher, SLT, Oriental Teacher, etc. amended, given how many such people in the job market.
