UET Lahore has changed admission policy for admissions in 2020
It has been notified that the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore changed its admission policy in 2020 due to COVID-19. As because of COVID-19 holidays, exams of intermediate have been postponed UET Lahore decided to revised its merit formula and admission policy for the admission cycle 2020.
UET Old merit formula
Up to 2019, UET followed the following merit formula
- Intermediate: 70% marks
- Entry Test: 30% marks

UET New merit Formula
According to the new admission policy, UET has announced new merit formula which has the following weightage of marks
- Matric: 25%
- First Year: 45%
- Entry Test: 30%
Note: students have to obtain 60% marks in the Intermediate otherwise their admission will be canceled and their dues will also be reimbursed without any deduction.

Other than Intermediate policy, UET policies of DAE, B.Sc Engineering Technology, and Foreign qualifications streams have also changed.
