The top leading public sector university invites applications for affiliation in private colleges. However, they also announced an extension in the affiliation of already affiliated colleges for sessions 2021-22. The University of Sargodha is the largest public sector and well-renowned university in the province of Punjab. Around 25,000 students are admitted to the main campus and its affiliated colleges. A large number of Government and private colleges are affiliated with the university.
