US-Pak Knowledge Corridor PhD scholarships
Under the HEC Initiative, US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor, the government has announced the PhD degrees scholarships. These scholarships are for the session fall 2021 and spring 2022 in the top-ranked US universities. For the scholarship, candidates having Pakistani and AJK nationality are eligible. However, the HEC has started the registration so you can apply for the PhD Scholarship. The last date to apply through the HEC website is 10 January 2021.
Eligibility Criteria For US-Pak Corridor Scholarship
- Candidates must have a 04 years bachelor’s degree.
- Candidates having max. one 2nd division and no 3rd division in the academic career can apply.
- You must have at least 50% marks in the entire academic career.
- During shortlisting, the organization may use the AEF Formula and GRE Score.
- Candidates must be a Pakistan/AJK nationality.
- Age limit: 40 years in the case of regular faculty members. While 35 years for all others

Important instructions:
- After the completion of studies, candidates have to serve Pakistan for 05 years to show commitment.
- The HEC will provide the grant for max. 05 years
- Only shortlisted candidates will have to submit the HEC attested documents.
Merit determination Formula
- 60% GRE Score
- 30% AEF Formula
- Those who have GRE from the host university have to appear in the HAT test.

For the HEC US-Pak Knowledge Corridor PhD scholarship, 10 January 2021 is the last date.
