At the start of April, the Punjab government announced the e-transfer process for the teachers. The Govt opened the online portal for the transfer on 31 March 2022. However, the last date to apply for the e-transfer was 13 April 2022. You can get the detail from here.
According to the details, around 26000 Teachers applied for the transfer from one school to another. However, 16,000 females teachers and 12,553 males teachers applied on open merit basis for the transfer.
At the same time, around 9000 teachers applied based on the wedlock policy and around 2100 promoted teachers also applied for the transfer. Under the mutual transfer category, around 2115 teachers applied for the transfer.

Now, the department will verify the applied candidates’ documents until 23 April 2022. After that, the eligible candidates will get the orders on 25 April 2022.
