According to the recent news, there will be 08 hours of load shedding in Punjab and the twin cities (Islamabad & Rawalpindi). The reason for this unexpected Load Shedding is the electricity shortfall reached 5000 megawatts. However, there is also news that several plants working on Coal, gas, and furnace oil have also been closed. Because of all these reasons, Punjab and Federal face several hours of Load Shedding.

- The duration of load shedding in Islamabad and Rawalpindi wil be 08 hours
- In Punjab, the load Shedding duration has also reached 03-10 hours.
Load Shedding in Twin cities
However, in Islamabad and Rawalpindi nearby areas, the citizens have already faced unscheduled load shedding from the last week. The consumers complained that there had been an 08-10 hours blackout for the last six months in twin cities in the name of maintenance. When govt warned the Supply company to stop the maintenance, Lesco started unscheduled load shedding.

Other than twin cities, Punjab is also facing a severe blackout. In Punjab, the cities (Lahore, FSD, etc.) face 3-10 hours of load shedding, due to which citizens face many problems.
