Allama Iqbal Open University AIOU Online Workshops
Allama Iqbal Open University announced to conduct the online workshops for the postgraduate programs. This online workshop will be held through the Aaghai LMS portal from 13 July 2020 Monday and necessary for all students enrolled in the postgraduate degrees in AIOU
AIOU programs/degrees for workshop
According to the university’s ICT Director, Ajmal Farooq, the university arranged online workshops for the following degrees.
- B.ed
- M.ed
- MA
- MSc
- Bs Hons
Ajmal Farooq said that the university had delivered the usernames and password to the students through SMS. By using username and password, students can log in to the LMS and see their courses’ details. The university decided to conduct the workshops via this portal. The process of sending messages to the students is continuing.
He also said that we hired the best teachers from the country for the online workshops of courses. This step is taken because of the pandemic. This procedure of the workshop will continue until October. He further added that about 30,000 students could attend the workshop via 06 different slots through the portal. Each slot will be of 90 minutes.
For queries
Through SMS, AIOU also informs the students to contact them via their regional LMS email for any question. In each SMS, email has been mentioned according to the students’ region. So students can freely ask any questions related to the username or password. The emails of all areas are also present on the university website.
